The Baba and Nyonya Heritage Museum in Melaka is a must visit for anyone interested in the history and culture of Peranakan Chinese. The museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the lifestyle, customs, and traditions of the Baba Nyonya community. Very well maintained and preserved exhibits and artifacts which are passed down from generations to generations. There are some times for guided tours, but most of the time you'll be in there without a guide as you explore the many rooms and learn how the baba nyonyas came to be. Overall experience was pleasant and it was interesting to see the details of the wooden furnishings and interior decorations.
