Below is my relaxed sea-viewing guide for a two-day and one-night trip to Meizhou Island starting from Nanchang🎈 🚄Choose the high-speed train from Nanchang West to Putian at 7:20 - 11:06. After arriving at Putian Station, take the bus (k09, 363) to Wenjia Wharf, which takes about 40 minutes. Remember to buy ferry tickets in advance on the Meizhou Island ferry mini-program when taking the bus. With a teacher/student ID, you can buy tickets at half price🎫 🛳Upon arrival at Meizhou Island, first check in. Highly recommend staying near Lianchi'ao Beach. The homestay I booked was only a 3-minute walk to the beach, making it super convenient to watch the sunrise🤩. After arriving at the homestay, ask the owner to help contact for an electric scooter, which will be delivered in about 5 minutes. It costs 50 yuan for 24 hours. Friends who want to leisurely watch the sea must rent one; riding in the sea breeze is simply amazing!!! 🍱For lunch, go to Tianmu Restaurant. The seaweed dumplings are a must-try! They also have fresh seafood; just order according to your taste. 🏞After a nap, head straight to Goose Tail Sea Erosion Park. This place is perfect for photos. Photo-loving sisters must check out Feiji Cave and Whale Blue Tears (a café). 🌃In the evening, indulge in the food near the farmers' market. Try the taro four-fruit soup (the coconut milk version is great), crispy fried chicken legs (green cart on the slope near the farmers' market), and Hu Jian (a local Fujian milk tea brand worth trying). After dinner, take a walk to Mazu Temple to digest. I went in the evening to avoid the sun, but you can also go in the morning after watching the sunrise. From the top of Mazu Temple, you can see Taiwan across the strait during the day. 🌅On the second day, watch the sunrise at Lianchi'ao Beach at 5:30 am, then go to the farmers' market for breakfast. Xianyou snacks are great, especially the wonton-like dish from the shop across the street, which has a unique texture and is light and delicious. 🏖Next, go to Meiyu Chaoyin to see the sea. The broken bridge in p9 is there. From the entrance of Meiyu Chaoyin, walk a bit, and on the right, there is a rainbow health track. My p2 was taken there. The super popular rainbow road is straight ahead from the entrance, along the seaside road. 🍲For lunch, search for Haoshihui. Popular restaurants are nearby; just go to the one with the shortest queue. After lunch, visit Tianfei's Hometown, which also has a photo studio. The whole scenic area is great for photos. Finally, buy some snacks at Tangchao on the island, and you can prepare to return. I booked the return ticket at 5:10 pm from Putian to Nanchang West. This itinerary is very ample, and I visited all the places I wanted to. Meizhou Island is not big, two days and one night are completely enough, and it won't be exhausting like a 'special forces' trip. 💡Tips: Be sure to choose a sunny day to see the sea. Ferries will stop operating in case of rain or typhoon, and the seaside on a cloudy day is not good-looking.
