If you're planning a vacation in Mauritius, this hotel is a must.

In March this year, I finally went to my dream vacation destination, Mauritius. Apart from the long journey (there are currently no direct flights), my week-long vacation in Mauritius was amazing. Before I left, I had already decided on the Constance Belle Mare Plage, a luxury hotel brand in Mauritius. I was torn between Belle Mare and Prince Hotel, but in the end, I chose Belle Mare, which is more family-friendly and cost-effective. 📍 Belle Mare is on the east coast of Mauritius, which has the best sea and sand in Mauritius. It takes 1 hour to get from the airport to the hotel. The attractions in Mauritius are quite scattered. If you want to go from the hotel to the capital, Port Louis, or drive to the west and south, it will take 1 hour. Although we went out for a walk, to be honest, it was more comfortable to stay at the hotel. 🏖️ In addition to 2 km of coastline and 5 outdoor swimming pools, there is a kids club for children over 3 years old, 2 18-hole golf courses, a spa (I recommend the full body massage and Sisley facial), a gym (with free activities every day), 7 restaurants, and 6 bars. You won't get bored even if you stay here for a month. 🍴 I only found out after I arrived that Constance is a brand known for its food. During my stay, I happened to catch their food festival, where Michelin chefs from around the world came to compete. Hotel guests can also book a Michelin chef dinner. I'll talk about this in more detail in another post. We chose full board (excluding alcoholic beverages). I recommend you go to Deer Hunter for lunch. The food is good, and you can overlook the beautiful view of the golf course. I also highly recommend the Japanese restaurant. Their wine collection is also amazing. Prince Hotel has the largest wine cellar in the Indian Ocean, and I even went to visit it. 💁 Mauritius is a very tourist-friendly country. A friend of mine had been to a Constance hotel in the Maldives and couldn't stop praising their service. We could feel it even more when we came to the hotel brand's home base. The staff are all locals, very enthusiastic and happy. French is their native language, but they can communicate in English. There are fewer Chinese tourists after the pandemic, so there is no Chinese service yet. 🏨 The hotel has villas and suites to choose from. A regular suite can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child. Our suite had a balcony facing the pool and beach. Every night, the turndown service would leave some small gifts with local characteristics. PS: If you're traveling with family, I recommend Belle Mare. If you're a couple, you can also choose Prince Hotel. We booked a dinner at Prince Hotel, so we visited it as well.
