Cagbalete Island is

Cagbalete Island is a quiet island getaway that has been rising in popularity among backpackers and budget travelers. Located just off the coast of Mauban town proper in Quezon just a few hours from Manila, this island offers beautiful beachfront campsites and a wide white-sand beach. It’s not a place for partygoers, but more for nature tripping. Don’t expect five-star resorts or lots of dining options. Despite its proximity to Manila, Cagbalete Island still feels laid-back and remote. There’s still no electricity here, which makes it great for communing with nature and beach camping. #newphotographer#merrychristmas#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#tripinspired#happynewyear

Calauit Wildlife Sanctuary

Calauit Safari Park, formerly known as Calauit Game Preserve and Wildlife Sanctuary, is a 3,700-hectare land that is known for the thriving population of giraffes and zebras. Established on August 21, 1976, this park was an initiative of President Ferdinand Marcos during his regime when he brought the African wildlife from Kenya all the way to the lone island of Calauit in Busuanga. The zebras and the giraffes were more unconcerned to tourists. It was noticeable how they were oblivious to our presence. Neither could these creatures ignore the temptation brought by their food. The park gave us the opportunity to feed the giraffes. As the tour guide handed over a handful of branches to us, the gentle giants approached us and bent over their necks to reach for the leaves. It was a brief encounter with them. #newyearstrip#newphotographer#travelinspiration#springholiday#merrychristmas#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#tripinspired#happynewyear

Anawangin Cove

A decade ago, Anawangin Cove was where you should go if you wanted to be alone on the beach. But that’s not the case anymore. Anawangin’s popularity skyrocketed over the years, and it’s not hard to see why. Its coast is strewn with volcanic ash, spewed by Mt. Pinatubo in 1991, and then shaded by towering agoho trees, a type of casuarina tree that thrives by the shore. This combination, while not unique, is far from the usual beach landscape in the country. All this is magnified by its proximity to the capital, Manila, just 5 hours away. The view from the southern hill that separates the main beach from another beach. If you’re facing the sea, simply follow the shore to your left and you will reach a trail up a hill. Climb to the top and you’ll have a fantastic panoramic view of the area. #newphotographer#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#tripinspired#happynewyear

Two Seasons Coron Bayside Hotel

When we travel, we can’t help but take snapshots of the places and the very things that interest us about the destination. Every now and then, we take pictures of these fascinating scenic locations at sunset. Pictures are great way to remember all the special moments and in a destination as stunning as Palawan, a province in the Philippines, sunsets become a great way to mark the day and the memories. Seeing the sun slowly falling on the horizon when you’re in an island paradise is amazing anywhere, but especially in an island paradise. #travelsnacks#travelinspiration#newphotographer#2019firsttravelpic#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#tripinspired#happynewyear

Small Lagoon

You’ve probably seen photographs of the stunning limestone formations around El Nido rising majestically above the turquoise water. It is one of the most popular destinations in the Philippines and for good reason, the nearby islands and beaches are absolutely stunning. So my partner and I decide to visit this amazing paradise to find out that it is indeed what many people says, where in fact it’s more than that and definitely exceeds our expectations. It was really an awesome trip and very worth it. I wish to comeback again here soon. #newphotographer#christmastrip#travelinspiration#merrychristmas#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#instagramworthydestinations#couplestrip#awesomepic#wintergetaway#tripinspired#happynewyear

The Grand Palace

The dazzling, spectacular Grand Palace is undoubtedly the most famous landmark in Bangkok. It’s one must-see sight that no visit to the city would be complete without. It was built in 1782 and for 150 years was the home of the Thai King, the Royal court and the administrative seat of government. The Grand Palace of Bangkok is a grand old dame indeed, that continues to have visitors in awe with its beautiful architecture and intricate detail, all of which is a proud salute to the creativity and craftsmanship of the Thai people. Within its walls were also the Thai war ministry, state departments, and even the mint. Today, the complex remains the spiritual heart of the Thai Kingdom. #newphotographer#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#instagramworthydestinations#awesomepic#holidayvacation#tripinspired#happynewyear

Paseo del Mar

People in the Philippines like to celebrate Christmas for as long as possible! The playing of Christmas carols in shops can start in September! The formal Christmas celebrations start on 16th December when many people go the the first of nine pre-dawn or early morning masses. The last mass is on Christmas day. The Christmas celebrations continue to the First Sunday in January when Epiphany or the Feast of the Three Kings is celebrated. In the Philippines the early masses held before Christmas are called the 'Misa de Gallo' or 'Simbang Gabi' in Filipino. Most Filipinos are Christians with about 80% of people being Catholics. It's the only Asian country with so many Christians. Because of this, Christmas is the most important holiday in the Philippines. #newphotographer#christmastrip#travelinspiration#2019firsttravelpic#merrychristmas#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#wintergetaway#merryxmas#awesomepic

Coral Cove is a tiny bay with coarse reddish sand. The beach here is very clean: there are no bottles and old palm branches beneath your feet. On the left and on the right there are gigantic boulders growing right from the sand, like frightening guards, protecting an access to the bay from the sea. In glades between the boulders you can find hiding places to get away from strangers sight in this by far secluded oasis. The slope of the bed is quite considerable, the depth surges sharply, and you will be covered with water only within a couple of meters distance from the shore. G reat fans of swimming and deep sea should definitely like Coral Cove. It is exciting to swim here, and ten meters away from the shore you will reach a considerable depth. #newyearstrip#newphotographer#christmastrip#travelinspiration#givethanks#merrychristmas#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#wintergetaway#merryxmas#awesomepic

Kamay na Bato Art Gallery is a unique tourist attraction in Luna, La Union which offer an assortment of arts carved from stones. The art pieces are carved and assembled by Mr. Vong Kim, originally a Korean nation. He graduated in Korea with a degree in fine arts specializing in sculpture. And that’s why Kamay na Bato is a must visit as this man is just so talented. #travelinspiration#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#tripinspired#happynewyear

Dome of the Rock

One of the most iconic images of the Middle East is undoubtedly the Dome of the Rock shimmering in the setting sun of Jerusalem. Sitting atop the Haram al-Sharif, the highest point in old Jerusalem, the Dome of the Rock’s golden-color Dome and Turkish Faience tiles dominates the cityscape of Old Jerusalem and in the 7th century served as a testament to the power of the new faith of Islam. The Dome of the Rock is one of the earliest surviving buildings from the Islamic world. This remarkable building is not a mosque, as is commonly assumed and scholars still debate its original function and meaning. Undoubtedly the experienced here is so powerful and can’t be measured as you feel the good energies after you left this place. In my own opinion this is really a must visit place when you’re in Israel. #scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#tripinspired#happynewyear

Bantay Bell Tower

The Bantay Bell Watchtower, or Bantay Belfry, is located in a little town called Bantay 10 minutes from Vigan City. Built in 1591, it once served as a watchtower for the Spanish colonists as a defense against the potential risk of invading pirates. The word 'bantay' means 'guard' in Tagalog; and even though the Bantay Watchtower was turned into a bell tower by the nearby church in 1857, it still was used as a watchtower during the two World Wars due to its strategic location. The Bantay Tower is also quite popular among the local tourists. This is because a famous Filipino movie 'Ang Panday' was shot around the bell tower. #unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#tripinspired#happynewyear

Coron Island

Coron Island is located a 30-minute boat ride from the town on Busuanga Island and is home to many of the top sights in Coron. Here you can find Twin Lagoons, Kayangan Lake, Barracuda Lake, and many stunning beaches and smaller lagoons. Coron Town is a fishing village with a population is just over 40,000 but it is becoming more and more popular tourist every year. Coron is often listed as one of the top tourist places in the Philippines. The Palawan was recently named the most beautiful island in the world and we’d have to agree. #2019firsttravelpic#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#decembertravel#couplestrip#awesomepic#holidayvacation#tripinspired#happynewyear

Secret Lagoon

Secret Lagoon is a small pool of water hidden within one of the most incredible and probably my favorite beach in El Nido, Palawan. It was incredible with a good mixture of epic limestone cliffs, snorkeling and of course the Secret Lagoon. As the boat slowly pulls in to the cove, you will be blown away by the intense scale of the limestone cliffs, which tower over the beach. I mean absolutely tower. The tiny patch of sounds is completely dwarfed by the huge cliffs which must be hundreds of feet high. Trees are scattered throughout the incredibly sharp cliffs giving a great contrast to the greys of the limestone. We are really stunned! #newyearstrip#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#couplestrip#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#wintergetaway#tripinspired#happynewyear
