Sassi built in a cave

#AprilTravelSupport I was able to see the Sassi, built in a cave where people used to live, on the cliff opposite the back of Matera Old Town. I couldn't imagine how people lived back then. The whole city was like an open-air museum, so if I go to Matera again next time, I'd like to stay there for at least one night. I definitely recommend visiting. #bellaitalia
