Amanjena Amanjena: unique charm in tranquility

On my recent trip to Marrakech, I’ve stayed at three hotels so far: Royal Mansour, La Mamounia and Amanjena. Amanjena As the only Aman hotel in Africa, Amanjena undoubtedly maintains the tranquil and peaceful atmosphere that is consistent with the Aman brand. But compared to the two top hotels I’ve stayed at before, Amanjena is not the best hotel in Marrakech. Amanjena, which means "peaceful paradise," embodies Aman Resorts' consistent design philosophy of living in harmony with nature and culture. The first thing you notice upon entering Hotel Amanjena is a unique sense of serenity and peace. The entire hotel is surrounded by green trees and beautiful gardens, as if entering a paradise. Unlike the gorgeous luxury of Royal Mansour and the historical richness of La Mamounia, Amanjena won me over with its simple and elegant design. Amanjena’s design was inspired by traditional Moroccan palace architecture, especially the ancient red walls and Mediterranean style of Marrakech. The hotel was designed by Ed Tuttle, who incorporated elements of Moroccan history and culture into his design, giving the hotel a modern luxury feel while retaining a strong sense of place. The hotel's architecture uses a large number of natural materials, such as laterite bricks and stone, to create an original and natural beauty.
