A popular railway track is also being built in the area to facilitate photo taking. 2️⃣Maoming Forest Park. It is called a forest park, but in fact it is a forest zoo. It feels much larger than the Guangzhou Zoo, probably because of the lush vegetation. Except for the pandas, it has everything that is needed and can meet all the needs of the kids. The key is that there are not many people, and you can rent a small electric car that can seat three people, so it doesn't cost much for parents. But because the zoo is relatively remote, there are only a few farm-style restaurants around. I recommend taking the western Guangdong route which takes two days and one night. Starting from Guangzhou, you can directly reach the Open-pit Mine Forest Park in about 4 hours, and then go to the Forest Park on the next day. If you want to add a hotel, you can stay at the Wyndham in the city. There are convenient dining facilities around, but the air conditioner is a bit loud and blows directly on the bedside. If you mind, you can change to another hotel.
