National Museum of Fine Arts

#manchestertrip I loved my visit to the National Museum of Fine Arts! First of all, it’s free—you just need to bring an ID, which is awesome. But heads up, if you’re coming on a weekend, be ready for a crazy long line that stretches outside the building. I made the mistake of going on a Sunday and had to come back early on a weekday to avoid the wait. Definitely recommend going on a weekday if you can! The museum itself is huge! There are multiple floors filled with stunning paintings, sculptures, and other artworks. Of course, the Spoliarium was one of the highlights for me—it’s so massive and powerful in person. I really took my time exploring, and I still feel like I didn’t see everything. If you’re planning to visit, wear comfy shoes because you’ll be walking a lot! Only downside? Some kids were running around, sliding on the floors, and touching the walls, and their parents just let them do whatever. I didn’t see any staff nearby to stop them, which was kinda frustrating. The exhibits are national treasures, so they should be better protected. Overall, I had an amazing time and would totally go back! Whether you're into art or just want a cool, chill place to explore, this is a must-visit. Plus, it’s a great spot for a unique date or just a solo adventure. Highly recommend!
