Manchester: A mix of old and New

During the 18th and 19th century’s Industrial Revolution the city of Manchester was one of the most important in the world. Walking around the city today you can feel that history in many of its building such as the corn exchange and the printworks, both of which have been transformed into modern entertainment complexes whilst still keeping their historic ambiance. The city now hosts many modern buildings such as the Urbis skyscraper that is now home to the National Football Museum. #manchester #history
