Manchester travel review 2024: Exploring the heart of the city

In 2024, my trip to Manchester left me fascinated. The accommodation I chose for this trip was the Holiday Inn, which was located in the city center. It had an excellent location and allowed me to easily explore the city's major attractions. Every morning, after a hearty breakfast buffet, I head out to embark on a new adventure. I first visited the famous Victoria Station. This historic railway station is not only a transportation hub, but also a cultural symbol of Manchester. The architectural style and busy atmosphere inside the station made me feel the vitality of the city. Afterwards, I strolled to Manchester Cathedral, a magnificent landmark known for its spectacular Gothic architecture, stunning stained glass windows and intricate carvings that mesmerized me and made me feel like I had stepped back into the Middle Ages. This trip not only allowed me to appreciate the beautiful scenery of Manchester, but also made me feel the unique charm of this city and the warm and hospitable people.
