Great Little Spot, The Laundrette Manchester❤

Located in 32 Beech Road Chorlton, Manchester M21 9EL England Everything about this place is different, from the furry seats, menu, little jars of sauces, outside heated eating, even unusual cutlery. The first impression you get as you approach is "friendly". We were welcomed by bright and cheerful staff who seemed to really enjoy working there. We were offered water immediately, nice touch. Ordered the mixed starter which included vegetarian items. Not being a veggie, I didn't expect it, but I was blown away by the cauliflower wings. In fact all the starter items were spot on. Mains came, three very different pizzas for my companions and the truffle mac and cheese with sweet potato fries. I opted for the sausage option, which was very tasty and had a wonderful variance of textures, but I fear the sausage may have overpowered the delicate truffle taste, so is something to consider when ordering, after all it was my decision and I mean no detriment to the dish, which was excellent as it was. The sweet potato fries were very crispy, something that is hard to achieve with sweet potato, and tasty too. My daughter's cocktail wouldn't have looked out of place at a 5 star London hotel. Can't comment on the Delicates (desserts) as we were all too full to try them. In summary, you couldn't choose somewhere better to relax and enjoy company and great food and service. Visited at lunchtime and sat at an inside table, although there’s lots of outside seating with heaters. The restaurant was warm and cosy and the staff friendly. We were served by Megan and AJ who were both lovely. We ordered Caesar Salad, Vegan Triclore Salad, Hot Chocolate, Sticky Toffee Pudding and Pink Eton Mess Pancakes. All the food was lovely, very tasty and well presented. We really enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend the restaurant. Came here for my son’s 4th birthday family meal after visiting for the first time the week prior. Food was amazing on both visits, the cocktails are beyond gorgeous and all the staff are lovely. Special thanks to our waitress Louisa who was so helpful and on hand for anything we needed. A credit to the business.
