Ngliyep Beach

Ngliyep Beach is well known as the best Malang tourist spot and has been around for a long time. In fact, this beach was famous before other Malang favorite beaches such as Balekambang Beach. You can be satisfied playing in the water, playing in the sand, to camping on the edge of this beach because of its wide location. In addition to its beauty, this beach is also often the place where local residents hold traditional ceremonies. The beauty of this beach has been famous since the 1980s and has become a favorite tourist destination in East Java. This beach was first discovered by a Yogyakarta migrant in 1919. It was only in 1951 that Ngliyep Beach was inaugurated as a tourist spot but unfortunately the management was not good due to a dispute. The name ngliyep itself is taken from the Javanese language which means sleepy.
