A night at Chai Lai Orchid

#hiddengems I would have loved to spend more time at this idyllic retreat in the heart of nature, for a night of sleep in this extremely cosy riverside bungalow just wasn’t enough. Next morning, the same therapeutic sound of rushing river waters that lulled me to sleep the previous night greeted my ears as I awoke early in a bid to catch the sunrise. The local staff’s pet dog trotted over to our bungalow for a warm greeting as well, so we decided to spare the little cutie some scraps from our extremely delicious & traditional Thai breakfast that the staff kindly delivered to our doorstep 😋😋😋
