Feed elephants in Chiang Mai

There are many elephant sanctuaries in Chiang Mai, please do your research and choose an ethical one! I recommend "Chiang Mai elephant sanctuary" . I did a half day tour with a group that was small, so it was like a private tour. The van picked me up in front of my Hotel at 7 am in the morning, and the ride there was 1 and a half hours long. The road does get a bit bumpy whole you're approaching the sanctuary in the jungle. We had a great guide, Robert, who gave us a lot of information, and helped us take some grrt photos. Interacting with the elephants is so amazing, we got to feed them, gove them a mud bath and then wash them off in a river.
