Ban Den Temple, Chiang Mai Province

Wat Ban Den, or its full name “Wat Den Sari Si Mueang Kaen”, is located in Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province. It is a temple located on a hill surrounded by beautiful scenery. Inside the temple is spacious, consisting of the Ubosot, the Tripitaka Hall, the Drum Tower, the Inthakhil Pillar Shrine, the Lanna-style golden teakwood hut, the Vihara, the Stupa Pagoda, and the Phra Phuttha Mahasetthi Nawakoti, a pavilion enshrining the effigies of famous Thai monks. It is beautifully decorated with Lanna Thai architecture. Every detail of the construction is exquisitely beautiful, as if it were modeled from a literary work.
