Wat Saeng Kaew Phothiyan, Chiang Rai Province This temple has beautiful architecture with Buddhist sculptures and art designed by Phra Khru Ba Ariyachat Ariyachitto, which combines Lanna, Shan and Burmese art. When you arrive at Wat Saeng Kaew Phothiyan, you will see a beautiful gate archway in beautiful Lanna art. In front, there are statues of Phra Upakut and Phra Sangkachai on both sides of the gate. When you walk up to the second floor, you will see statues of the four great kings (including Thao Wessuwan, Thao Thatarat, Thao Wirupak and Thao Wirunhok). The principal Buddha image in the ordination hall is a Lanna-style Buddha image covered in gold leaf, named "Phra Saeng Kaew Phothiyan". The skywalk is "the only place in the world to worship the most thrilling Buddha" installed in front of Phra Sri Ariyametrai Bodhiyan. The Buddha statue is 21 meters wide and 32 meters high, with a base of 18 meters high. The base and the Buddha statue are approximately 50 meters high. The skywalk is divided into 2 sides and 3 levels.
