Onsen 🇹🇭 Underground hot springs at Pong Khamram, Tak Province

Every time I come to work in Mae Sot, I have to stop by here. Pong Kham Ram Onsen, Arokayasala, soak and relax. Relax, no service charge, it is a natural onsen that this community has connected pipes for those who want to relax to soak. If you don't bring a sarong or a loincloth, Here, it is available for 40 baht per person, you will get 1 loincloth + 1 towel and 1 basket to put your personal belongings next to you. You can take pictures, you can take your phone to play, but don't make loud noises, don't disturb others, and don't take pictures of others. It is polite. There is a place to change clothes and a shower to wash your body before soaking. Every tub has a bathroom for you to use. We can choose an empty tub and turn on the hot spring water ourselves. If it is too hot, the other side will be a normal faucet. Turn it on to warm it up as you like. But let me tell you, I went once and forgot to check that the faucet next to the cold water was broken and couldn't be turned on. My legs were red like red pork legs. Almost cooked, I had to change tubs immediately. 😆 The etiquette for using this place is, after soaking, alternate between getting up and sitting down to relax, then soaking again. The principle is the same as the onsen in Japan. And when we stop soaking, there will be a tap at the bottom of the tub, and we can also open the water. ✅️ After coming up, we walked to the onsen cafe. There weren't many people, but we usually ordered a pot of hot tea and some bread to support the place. After soaking in the onsen, we sat down to sip some hot tea. It was so good!
