When I drove up the mountain, the fog was so thick that it felt like I was driving in fog. Both sides of the road were full of green trees and the air was cool and comfortable. The chedis are very beautiful, with intricate details. When walking around, you will see beautiful views of the mountains and thin fog covering the mountaintops, like being in a movie scene. It is considered a sacred pagoda and a center of faith for the Lanna people. The shape of the pagoda is a pair of bell-shaped pagodas, golden and beautiful in the Lanna art style. It is believed that those born in the year of the dog should come to pay homage to Phra That Doi Tung for good luck because it is considered the pagoda of their birth year. Every year, there is a Phra That Doi Tung worship festival on the 8th day of the waxing moon of the 6th month (according to the Lanna lunar calendar).
