Wat Kong Kan

Wat Kong Kan is an important temple for the people of Mae Chaem. Inside the temple, there is Phra Chao Ton Luang, a revered Buddha statue of Mae Chaem. During the Songkran festival, the locals come to bathe the statue every year. The significance of Wat Kong Kan to the people of Mae Chaem lies in housing 'Phra Chao Ton Luang,' a Buddha statue in the Maravijaya posture with a width of 10 cubits and 9 inches, believed to possess great sanctity and miracles.
