Naphamethanidon Pagoda Naphaphonphumisiri Pagoda

Built by the Royal Thai Air Force and the Thai people to offer merit to His Majesty King Rama IX and Her Majesty the Queen on the occasion of their 5th cycle birthdays. These two pagodas are located at the intersection of the roads before reaching the top of Doi Inthanon. The pagodas are tall and stand out very prominently. The Naphamethanidon pagoda is brown, while the Naphaphonphumisiri pagoda is purple-pink.
