Madrid's Must-See Night Spot: The Temple of Debod

Interestingly, this temple was originally built in Egypt around 200 BC but was dismantled in the 1970s and reassembled here in Madrid. It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy street music and a stroll at sunset. In my opinion, it offers one of the best views of the city. After visiting the temple and its surroundings, you can also stop by the Principe Pio shopping center and restaurants, or visit the fun playground at Plaza Espana—both are just a 5 to 10-minute walk away.

#bucketlistreboot Temple of Debod Did you know that there is an Egyptian temple in Madrid? Well, there is one – the Temple of Debod. The temple was donated to Spain by the Egyptian government to save it from floods and was moved, piece by piece, in the early 1970s. They say it is one of the best places to watch the sun set in Madrid but we didn’t wait until the sun set. #spain #madrid
