#澳门景点 The Zheng Family Mansion has always been on my to-do list. I missed it twice before. This time I happened to pass by it while walking in the peninsula and finally succeeded in checking in. Next to it is the recently popular A-Po Well Square, but it is easy for people to overlook this inconspicuous street corner, so there are basically no people. It covers an area of ​​4,000 square meters and is the largest private residence in Macau. The entrance is a traditional Cantonese-style concave door. The setting of door guards is very common in Macau buildings, and it can also reflect the owner's preferences and economic status from the side. During the restoration, it was discovered that the gate had 18 layers of color, which means it had undergone no less than 17 renovations. The gray sculpture in the middle of the gate tower wall contains many different stories and themes, like a 15-meter three-dimensional scroll. The moon gate at the entrance had been demolished before and was later restored and reshaped. Behind the Moon Gate is a corridor. Ronglu Di is the entrance to the mansion, and at the end of the sedan chair path is the second gate of the mansion. A plaque with the words "Rong Lu Di" hangs on the porch, indicating that this was once the home of an official. There is also the words "Chongde Houshi" written by Zeng Guoquan in the corridor. However, these two plaques are replicas that were restored later, and the originals have been preserved by the Macau Museum. Continue walking forward and you will reach the corridor, which is two stories high. The Chinese-style moon doors and gourd windows are great for taking photos! The continuous row of windows is divided into two layers, the lower layer is a detachable wooden shutter, and the upper layer is a shell window, which has the characteristics of a Southeast Asian courtyard. Yuqing Hall has only front and back halls with a patio in the middle, which is very much in the style of a Lingnan Chinese-style house. The back hall of Yuqing Hall also has a zigzag-shaped longevity screen composed of twelve screens. Wenchang Hall is a place for reading, and its round moon gate leads directly to the large garden. Although Macau is not large in area, you can always discover new ways to play every time you visit it. When you walk around the old town, you will also meet the lovely and enthusiastic Macau grandparents, which can really make you happy all day long.
