Guia Fortress and Lighthouse

✅ The fortress was built in 1622 and named after Guia Hill, the highest point on the Macau Peninsula. It was a military stronghold for a long time, with a watchtower, ammunition depot, and tower. It became a tourist attraction after the Portuguese army withdrew from Macau in 1976. ✔️ The lighthouse was built in 1865 and is the first modern lighthouse in the Far East.
