The Guia Fortress and Lighthouse are family-friendly attractions not to be missed when visiting Macau, and are also one of the world's cultural heritage sites. Guia Fortress is located on the top of Guia Hill, where children can see the remains of the ancient fortress and learn about the defense stories of the past. The nearby lighthouse is one of the oldest surviving lighthouses on the Chinese coast. Its white exterior stands out against the blue sky. The trails here circle the top of the mountain and are perfect for a family stroll, where you can enjoy the natural scenery while learning about history. Looking down from the top of the mountain, you can have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of Macau, which is refreshing. This parent-child trip not only broadened the children's horizons, but also allowed us to review the history of Macau together.
