Catholic Church in Macau ⛪️🇲🇴

#myhiddengems St. Dominic's Church near Leal Senado was first built in 1587 by Spanish Dominican priests and the next year was taken over by Portugal disciples. The construction of the church aimed to enshrine Our Lady of the Rosary (so it's commonly known as the Rose Lady church). Near The Ruins, you can visit it along the way. The Church was originally built in camphorwood and finally rebuilt in stone in 17th century. The Church entered the lists of World Heritage Site in 2005 as it forms part of Historic Center of Macau.
