Quickie in Macau

Not the quickie you think, but I had like 6 odd hours to spare in the late evening at the macau airport. My options were between catching a nap at the noisy airport or take a ride into town and walk around, Casino hopping and eat something. Luckily the bus system in macau runs all night. And there was the convenience of using hong kong dollars to pay for everything. They take hong kong dollars at the same price as macau pataka. I got down at the nearest stop to senado square. All the shops were shut. But I managed to walk around an hour, see what could be seen. The evenings are quite pretty around here with the lights. But too many strange looking people and workers hanging outside or getting drunk. I did manage to eat at a local eatery as well. The egg tart couldn't be done because the shop was shut. But otherwise worth the trip and stroll. #chinatrip#macau #layover
