Enclosed by a high wall around its perimeter, the landscape features a number of narrow paths surrounded by groves of bamboo and flowering bushes, leading to a pond filled with golden carp, turtles and lotus. A nine-turn bridge over the pond displays a zigzag shape which is worth a note: according to legend, evil spirits can only move in straight lines, hence the importance of the zigzag shaped path. In addition, the garden comprises a large pavilion with classical and Chinese architecture features, where occasionally art exhibitions and events are held.
