Try taking the Golden Bus to Macau via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. It should have been faster to take the land route, but after crossing the border and waiting for the bus, getting on and off many times, and then changing buses to reach the hotel, it is much easier to take a boat.
