A hot spring hotel that makes you linger and forget to return

When it comes to hot springs around Kunming, everyone thinks of Anning, Mile, Yuxi... Who would have thought that there is a hidden gem of a hot spring hotel in Baishui Town, Luxi County, just a two-hour drive from Kunming? The hot springs here have a high water temperature of 78 degrees Celsius and are very soft, weakly alkaline sulfur springs. The rooms come with their own soaking pools, which are very suitable for traveling with babies of a few months old. Of course, they also have outdoor mid-mountain hot spring pools (it is said that there are more than 30 pools, but we didn't go; soaking in the room was already enough). After soaking, your skin feels smooth and silky, and the whole family can't stop praising the experience. The only downside is the location is quite remote, and dining is inconvenient, with only the hotel buffet available (which we didn't try). However, if you're driving, there's a local banquet nearby with good dishes, and you can also try the special roasted potatoes of Luxi County town, with more than twenty kinds of seasonings which are simply too delightful (a must-try for those who haven't). There are also Luxi specialties like chicken feet, cold rice noodles, lamb rice noodles, and so on. There are too many delicious options, making a weekend getaway just perfect.
