Guomang Wetland, Nine-colored Gannan

Guomang Wetland is located beside National Highway 213 in Gahai Township, Luqu County, Gansu Province, at an altitude of 3562 meters. It is the source and water conservation area of the Tao River, the largest tributary of the Yellow River, and an important wintering habitat for migratory birds such as the black-necked crane. At this moment, Guomang Wetland is a beautiful autumn picture, with white clouds, fluttering prayer flags, and the interplay of grasslands, rivers, and lakes, also reflecting the beauty of the Nine Bends of the Yellow River. The iconic building of Guomang Wetland is the red-crowned crane statue, located in the middle of the red-crowned crane viewing platform, which can be reached by a wooden plank road about one kilometer long. Admission is free and it is open all day. It is recommended to drive there, located beside National Highway 213.
