Memories of Old Luoyang People——Xiyuan Park

Xiyuan Park was built in the early 1950s as a nursery and was named botanical garden in 1962. In the early 1980s, large-scale park construction was carried out, lakes were dug, mountains were built, and exotic flowers and plants were introduced. Later, because it was located on the site of the Sui Dynasty royal garden "Xiyuan", after research by the municipal government, it was renamed Xiyuan Park in 1987. ------ Recently, many new friends have come to Xiyuan Park, including black swans, mandarin ducks, ducks, etc. The white magnolia in the park has also bloomed, and there are some unknown small flowers. Everywhere is filled with birdsong and fragrance of flowers, and it is quiet and peaceful. People who take wedding photos and those who wear Hanfu costumes come to the park to take pictures, and it is very photogenic! Today I took the kids to the lake to feed (steamed buns, cabbage) the swans and ducks. They were extremely hospitable and flocked to us. ------ The kids had a lot of fun feeding the animals, and this is also a great place to take the kids for a walk! The north wall of the park is covered with murals of Nezha, and many people come to check in and watch. Xiyuan Park is full of memories for the older generation of Luoyang people.
