Luoyang Courtyard by Marriott: A convenient and unique accommodation option It is very convenient to take a taxi from Luoyang Longmen Railway Station. After leaving the station, follow the signs to the B1 floor, where there is a designated taxi pick-up point. You can call a taxi here. It is about 5 to 6 km from Longmen Railway Station to Luoyang Courtyard by Marriott, and it takes less than 20 minutes to get there, including the time to drive out of the underground parking lot of Longmen Railway Station. Luoyang Courtyard by Marriott is a Marriott hotel located in Luolong District (a large area), next to the stadium and near a university, making it convenient for dining, transportation, and accommodation. The view from the hotel room is quite nice, but the sunlight is a bit strong during the day in summer. It is not far from Luoyang Museum, Longmen Grottoes, and other attractions. Besides, taxi fares in Luoyang are cheap, so it is very convenient to get around (except for White Horse Temple, which is about a 40-minute drive away). The highlight of this hotel is the breakfast, which is amazing! There are a variety of local specialties, such as beef soup, mutton soup, heluo noodles, spicy soup, fried meatballs, beef potstickers, and roujiamo, all of which are delicious. The freshly steamed buns are especially delicious. I recommend the leek, egg, and vermicelli bun and the braised pork bun, which are all handmade, not pre-made. Before Luoyang Marriott opened, this Courtyard by Marriott was the only Marriott hotel in Luoyang. The service is satisfactory. Although the room is a bit small, there is an executive lounge, and the food and drinks in the lounge are also good. Overall, it is cost-effective. From my experience, I have traveled to 132 countries and stayed in thousands of hotels. I have Marriott Titanium, Hilton Diamond, and IHG Platinum membership cards. My stay at Luoyang Courtyard by Marriott was good. The good experience is reflected in the following: First, Courtyard by Marriott has an executive lounge, which is really unexpected; second, the service is excellent; third, it is cost-effective. Of course, there are some shortcomings: the hotel does not stop uncivilized behavior, such as wearing slippers to the lounge and restaurant; the location of the hotel could be improved; there is a strange smell in the corridor. Overall, it is still a very cost-effective hotel and is worth recommending.
