Explore the 🪵mangrove park @ Lumut

#gohiking Location: Taman Paya Bakau, Lumut One of the popular attraction site for tourist in Manjung, entrance to this park was RM3 per pax. If you asked any locals from Manjung, they would probably tell you it is packed with monkeys! We visited at 11am, which was not the typical meal time of monkeys, so there were only a few monkeys spotted. Try to come around 5-6pm, you might get a better sight of monkeys. Park is huge, with cement paved bridge nowadays. I remembered my last visit roughly 10 years ago, the bridge was still made of wood. There are boards explaining different types of trees in the park, for those with inquisitive mind. Otherwise, you could enjoy the breeze and fresh air just like what I have done. Along the path, we managed to spot crabs at the floor of the mangrove forest. After about 10mins walk, you will see a long suspension bridge. Be sure to climb up and enjoy the view! As a general rule to parks, covered clothing and mosquitoes repellent are highly recommended. We stayed for 20mins at the park for general sightseeing. Good educational trip for the young one as you will get to see the habitat of mangrove forest!
