Wuhu, commonly known as Zuosuohai, the ancient name of Ledehai, Luwu Lake, the Naxi Mosuo language "" for the ravine, "" for the Li, meaning the lake in the ravine, the lake is located in Yanyuan County, Sichuan Province The junction of Ninglang County, Yunnan Province, is under the jurisdiction of Sichuan and Chongqing. Hudong is Wuhu Town of Yanyuan County (formerly Zuosu District), and Huxi is Yongning Township of Ninglang County. The lake is slightly north-south-southeast, 9.5 km long from north to south, 5.2 km wide from east to west, with a coastline of 44 km long, a lake area of 50.1 km2, a catchment area of 247.6 km2, a maximum water depth of 105.3 m and an average water depth of 40.3 m. The reservoir capacity is 2.252 billion cubic meters, the maximum transparency of the lake is 12 meters, and the lake surface is 2685 meters above sea level. Wuhu is a plateau fault-disintegrating lake, consisting of a northeast-south fault and two east-west faults. It is a water system of the Litang River, a tributary of the Yalong River, a tributary of the Jinsha River in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. There are 18 rivers and lakes in Wuhu (11 in Yunnan and 7 in Sichuan). The lake is injected into the former river in Yanyuan County through the Dacaohai on the east side, and then injected into the Gezu River (downstream called Yongning River). The Wolong River (also known as the Linhe River and the Yanyuan River) enters the Litang River and is finally discharged into the Yalong River, a tributary of the Jinsha River in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.
