Flew into Los Angeles, stayed at Motel 6 down the street from the car rental and airport. Most hotels charge a parking fee per night and require a deposit that you get back once you check out which isn’t stated on their page so I suggest to call the hotel. Traffic to the airport for departure is absolutely horrible and slow, I suggest leaving earlier then usually- TSA is fairly quick. Drove North to visit Yosemite.
