MACAQUES ALL AROUND THE CITY

The quiet city of Lopburi, around 150 kilometers from Thailand's busy Bangkok, is home to the lesser-known yet intriguing Prasat Sam Yot temple ruins. It is the region's primate inhabitants who are famous, not the region's history or architecture. It is infected with long-tailed macaques, for lack of a better phrase.
