Trip to Longyan 🌸

Spring in Longyan 🌸 is a dream, especially during cherry blossom season! We visited during late February to early March, which is the best time to see the flowers in full bloom. Mornings ⛅️ and late afternoons offer the best lighting for photos, and weekdays are quieter for a more peaceful experience ✨ We started our morning at Longyan Cherry Blossom Park 🌳 one of the best spots in the city to see cherry blossoms in full bloom. The pink and white petals created a dreamy landscape, perfect for photography 📸 We walked along the pathways, taking pictures under the flower-laden branches. For the best shots, arrive before 9 AM when the light is soft ✨ and the crowds are minimal. 📍Xipi Park, Xipi Street, Xinluo District, Longyan City We explored Zhongshan Road, a historic street with traditional Hakka architecture and plenty of street food 🥘 We recommend trying Hakka rice dumplings and Longevity Noodles 🍜 at one of the old-style eateries. This area is also great for street photography 📸 especially in the late afternoon when the red lanterns start to glow ✨ 📍Zhongshan Road, Xinluo District, Longyan City As the sun set 🌇 we strolled through Longyan People’s Square, where the cherry blossoms 🌸 were illuminated by soft lights. It was a peaceful spot to end the day, with locals enjoying evening walks and street performances. The mix of pink blossoms and city lights made for stunning night photography 📸 📍Renmin Road, Xinluo District, Longyan City We also headed to Guanzhai Mountain ⛰️ a breathtaking scenic area with cherry blossoms blooming along the hiking trails. The mountain’s unique rock formations and misty atmosphere made it feel like a painting 🎨 We recommend hiking up before 10 AM for the best lighting and fewer crowds.
