This spot is great for taking portraits in the fields, but it's necessary to communicate with the terrace owners in advance, to protect the terraces and enjoy the view responsibly. It is possible to hike up and down, but there are many stairs, and the ascent can be tiring. The starting point for the hike is at the Jinkeng Dazhai parking lot, just walk towards the archway to reach the stairs. 🔭Viewing Platform No.3 (Golden Buddha Peak): The best spot for sunset photography. There is a sightseeing cable car available (one-way 55 yuan, round-trip 100 yuan), which offers an aerial view of the terraces, suitable for those who prefer not to walk. It takes about an hour to walk up or down the mountain, and you can choose to take the cable car one way and then walk down to enjoy the beautiful fields. The cable car ticket office is right next to the Jinkeng Dazhai parking lot. 🌾Ping'an Village (Zhuang nationality): The second largest terrace area, with the most concentrated and aesthetically pleasing shape of terraces. Many promotional photos are taken here, and it's possible to capture the entire terraces without a drone. Suitable for hiking and smartphone photography. Ping'an Village currently has 170 households with a population of over 700 people, all of the Zhuang nationality, with the surname Liao. The local customs are well preserved here, and among the three villages, Ping'an Village is the most recommended, with 2 viewing platforms 🔭Nine Dragons and Five Tigers Viewing Platform: First choice👍 with a wide view. Take the sightseeing car directly from the Ping'an Zhuang Village scenic area parking lot (one-way 30 yuan, round-trip 50 yuan), which allows you to go down to the terraces for photography, offering beautiful scenery and great photo opportunities. 🔭Seven Stars with the Moon Viewing Platform: A half-hour walk along the stone path from the Nine Dragons and Five Tigers Viewing Platform, all flat and not tiring. 🌾Ancient Zhuang Village (Zhuang nationality): The smallest terrace area, closest to the scenic area entrance/ticket office. It is the first village of Longji, and the village has not been developed, still retaining its original appearance, so transportation is not particularly convenient. It takes half an hour to walk there from Ping'an Village. It has the most complete, oldest, and largest group of Zhuang-style stilted wooden buildings in Guangxi and even in China, with 5 of the wooden buildings being over 100 years old, the oldest being 250 years old, ancient and full of charm. It's quiet with fewer people and cheaper accommodation. 🥗Local specialties: Bamboo tube rice, bamboo tube chicken, mountain bamboo shoot cured meat, homemade glutinous rice wine... The water here is all local spring water, and the chickens are free-range chickens raised by the locals.
