The building faces west without any high-rise buildings blocking the view, making it perfect for enjoying the sunset. Both the west-facing rooms and the terraces on the fifth and seventh floors are excellent spots for photography~ 🌆【Decor Style】: The hotel's interior design is by Yabu Pushelberg, incorporating many Chinese elements into the modern design, especially using a large number of artworks to showcase Shenzhen's past as a fishing village and its development by integrating strengths from various places. The overall presentation is very textured. However, in terms of interior design style, I feel that the lobby design of the Andaz in the same city captures the heart more, but the interior design of Conrad's Chinese restaurant, Yin Cheng, is very excellent~ 🛏【Room Type/Layout】: The hotel reception is located on the south side of the 5th-floor lobby, with large metal decorations incorporating typical architectural styles from various places, showing the city's development by integrating strengths from various regions. The room I experienced this time was the Executive Bay View King Room, with an area of 56 square meters. Compared to other non-suite rooms, the difference is only in the floor and orientation, with a similar area. However, the basic room size here is larger than other Conrads I've experienced, like the 38 square meters room in Shanghai Conrad, which is already very good~ The room's decor design is said to be ink wash rendering, mainly reflected in the bathroom, I guess; the drinks in the Mini bar are free; The bath products are Berydo's Desert Ghost, which I also used at Shanghai Conrad; The room's view is the biggest selling point, facing west, you can enjoy the sunset. It would be a pity not to experience the bay view room if staying at this hotel; The room is equipped with an air purifier, and the smell of the decor is not too obvious~ ⛺【Recreation】: The swimming pool and gym are both on the 7th floor. The pool faces west with a glass dome, and the sunlight shining through the dome onto the water during the day is beautiful; the pool is 1.4 meters deep, with less resistance, making it easier to swim. The Jacuzzi is connected to the pool, and sometimes swimming to the end of the Jacuzzi may cause splashes into it, which can be a bit embarrassing~ The gym is on the south side of the pool, large in scale, with a sufficient variety and quantity of equipment, although the view is slightly obstructed~ 🍩【Dining Features】: The lounge is located on the south side of the 5th-floor lobby, behind the reception, with a very textured interior decoration, especially when the sunset creates beautiful light and shadows inside. However, the view is mainly of the cityscape to the east and south. Breakfast is provided at The Common Room, a full-day restaurant on the 5th floor. Due to the hotel owner's Chaoshan background, there are many Chaoshan cuisine elements in the dishes, especially the freshly made seafood porridge with fresh ingredients, a must-try, and the quality of the baked goods is also good, with genuine freshly squeezed orange juice. The quality of breakfast is obviously better than other Conrads, and I personally think it's better than the Park Hyatt in the same city, with strengths and weaknesses compared to the Andaz, but not as good as the peak state of Mandarin Oriental. The interior design of the Chinese restaurant ranks probably after Hangzhou Conrad's Li An, mainly because I prefer Li An's color scheme and the Republic of China style~ 💴【Average Spending】: The room prices are a bit high recently, costing several thousand yuan, but it seems there are quite a few discounts available through Ctrip, so I suggest booking in advance~ 🧡【Tips】: It's very hot outside in Shenzhen's summer, so be sure to protect yourself from the sun; the indoor air conditioning is very strong, so bring a jacket~
