Super impressed by the brunch @heimcafe.lisbon 👌🏼🇵🇹 we had a tough time choosing what to order as the menu sounded amazing but decided on the savoury pancakes & the smoked salmon waffles 😋 make sure you go early if you don’t want to wait as they get very busy on the weekends ☺️ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ My other favourites from my Portugal trip:⁣⁣ @areiasdoseixo - one of the dreamiest hotel I’ve stayed at 😍 they focus on sustainability so they grow their own fruit & veg which is used at the restaurant 👌🏼 the food was great & they had a daily changing menu ☺️ refer to my LIS story highlights to see more 😉 (Santa Cruz)⁣⁣ @cervejariaramirooficial - so this was one of the most recommended restaurants in Lisbon & it was pretty good 👌🏼 if you love seafood this one is for you 🦀 make sure you book in advance (Lisbon)⁣⁣ @seenlisboa - vibey rooftop bar with lovely views over Lisbon 🍹 (Lisbon) ⁣⁣ @pasteisbelem - this place needs no intro 😬 defo best pasties de nata spot 💛 they do have other Portuguese sweet & savoury specialties too 🇵🇹 (Lisbon/Belem)⁣⁣ @belcanto_joseavillez - @joseavillez is a household name amongst the Portuguese so we had to try one of his restaurants 🙌🏼 a very innovative & generous tasting menu with a few fun elements thrown in 😉 love the shirt sleeve instead of a napkin for dessert 🙃 2 Michelin ⭐️⭐️ (Lisbon) ⁣⁣ @vegannata.pt - very impressed with the vegan natas here 👏🏼 it’s such a good alternative & I would defo get it again (Lisbon)⁣⁣ @marisconapraca - another one for seafood lovers 🦐 you get to pick the seafood you want to eat from their fresh counter ☺️ defo try the carabineros (giant red prawns) they’re sooo flavoursome & tasty 👌🏼 (Cascais) ⁣⁣ @5sentidosgrupo - lovely local restaurant, the curried prawn risotto was yum 😋 (Cascais)⁣⁣ @acevicheria - THE ceviche spot 🙌🏼 can’t fault it from decor to pisco sours & variety of ceviche options 👏🏼 I’ve actually done a post a few months back so you can refer to it for more details 🥰 (Lisbon)⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 📍Heim Cafe - R. Ceviche weather ☀️🔥 so impressed with my meal @acevicheria_chefkiko with their fresh seafood & delish flavour combinations 👌🏼 we tried the giant red shrimp ceviche, salmon and pineapple ceviche, tuna tartare tacos & octopus and quail egg causa 😋😋 the giant red shrimp ceviche was my fav & you can taste the sweetness of the shrimps paired with nero sweet potato mash & seaweed 🦐🦐 the tuna tacos comes a close 2nd although I did really enjoy the salmon ceviche too as it reminded me of pina coladas 🌮 make sure you try their pisco sours which were so good that we ended up having a few too many 😂🙈 love their decor with the giant hanging octopus as the centrepiece 🐙 ⁣ ⁣ Book in advance as they do get busy & waiting times could be long since it’s a small restaurant 🙂 #prinvite⁣ ⁣ 📍A Cevicheria - R. If you haven’t already, you really, but I mean really, have to give @glurnyc a try! Everyone I’ve brought there says it’s some of the best Thai food they’ve ever had 🤤🤯 (<— pretend it’s a happy face, bc it’s deliciously mind blowing). Their lunch special is also a steal! I had a spring rolls appetizer and this heaping plate of Pad See Ew (enough for second’s the next day) for $14.95. My boyfriend had the Pad Kee Moa with shrimp and the flavors were beautifully balanced. Also pictured is the Thai Iced Coffee. BALLER LOBSTER 🦞 @districtonelv We were spoiled with this beautiful lobster fried rice! Huge chunks of lobster meat with fragrant fried rice makes a delicious combination! If you’re trying to Treat Yo Self, this is the one! Pro tip: @districtonelv re-opened! 📍 @shinsen.co.uk • I was very kindly invited to @shinsen.co.uk last week to try some of the amazing food that they have to offer. Japanese food is always something that in my head I don’t like the idea of as I’m not a fan of sushi, however they have so many amazing things to choose from that even if you don’t like sushi you’ll most likely be able to find something that you like! I went for the Teriyaki Salmon and it was incredible! My friend got the Cucumber Maki and the Chicken Katsu Rolls which she said were both super tasty and she would recommend them. We also shared the Chicken Karaage which was delicious! The portion sizes are also very generous and it’s good value for money. To finish we shared Chocolate Ganache Mochi. The whole meal was so good, we even got to have it outside as the weather was nice. The highlight of a meal for me is something like this: Fresh seafood, fresh pasta and a delicious red sauce. . Let me introduce you to this fantastic dish: Bucatini Al Frutti Di Mare. This dish consists of lobster, scallops, shrimp, clams and tomatoes with fresh pasta. This dish is absolutely exquisite, and has become one of my new favorite dishes. . Second amazing pasta dish: Cannelloni. Pulled short ribs, parmesan fonduta, tomato sauce. This dish was fantastic as well! Perfect combination of cheese and tomato sauce.
