St James’s Palace

Address: Marlborough Rd, St. James's, London SW1A 1BQ, United Kingdom. Getting there: You can take tube and stop at the Green Park station. The palace is just around 6 minutes walk away. Highlights: St. James's Palace is one of London's oldest palaces. Built largely between 1531 and 1536 it was a residence of kings and queens of England for over 300 years. Although we only viewed this from the outside it was still very interesting as it is an important building. Although the public cannot enter the Palace, you can still view it from the outside and attend a service at the Chapel.😁 This is also the best place to see the changing of the guards without huge crowds.
