The Queen Charlotte

The Queen Charlotte is located on Goodge Street in the heart of Fitzrovia in central London. The nearest Tube is Goodge Street which has some superb Edwardian tiled walkways. This pub was first licensed in 1767, the present building dates from 1897 and was originally called The Northumberland Arms. The Northumberland Arms closed in 2011 and reopened as The Draft House Charlotte after being taken over by the Draft House chain. It was renamed around 2017 to The Queen Charlotte and is now Brewdog pub. This is small one bar pub that has a single rectangular room. The decor is traditional with a bare boarded floor, large windows, panelled and pale blue walls, conventional seating and leather banquettes. The servery dominates the bar area and has a detailed solid wood front and a tap list above the glass gantry. If you want to watch the world go by, there are a number of stools next to drinking ledges outside.
