The Ritz Cafe in London is Beautiful✨🌹♥️
#cafestory
The Ritz in London offers a cup of afternoon tea and a sense of acceptance of history. Afternoon tea in England originated in the early 19th century, led by Anna Law, the 7th Duchess of Bedford. In the Victorian era, people usually only had two meals, breakfast and dinner. This lady felt hungry in the afternoon after breakfast, but it was still a long time before dinner time. So the Duke spent a wonderful afternoon in his room, drinking lake tea with a little thought. Later, his wife invited friends to chat and have afternoon tea in her estate, and then took a walk in the garden. This move was very popular, and the Duchess brought her event to London during the social season to continue moving forward. Soon, other noblewomen followed suit and imitated, and such gatherings became increasingly formal and luxurious, sparking a wave of afternoon tea club social activities in British high society. With the popularization of tea, the afternoon was prohibited from blowing on the three islands of England, eventually becoming a major cultural imprint of Britain. Visiting Buckingham Palace was an unforgettable experience! 🏰 Located in the heart of London, this iconic royal residence is even more magnificent in person than it appears in pictures. The entrance fee for the State Rooms was £30, but it's worth every penny to see the opulence and grandeur inside. Walking through rooms like the Throne Room and the White Drawing Room, I was in awe of the intricate details, from the lavish chandeliers to the priceless artworks on the walls. 🎨👑
One of the highlights was witnessing the Changing of the Guard ceremony. It's a must-see! Arrive early to get a good spot because it can get pretty crowded. The sight of the guards in their traditional red tunics and bearskin hats marching to the sound of military music was thrilling. 🎶🫡 After the palace tour, I strolled through the nearby St. James's Park, enjoying its lush greenery and serene lake, perfect for a picnic or just relaxing. 🌳🦆
Don’t miss visiting the Royal Mews, where you can see the exquisite royal carriages, or the Queen’s Gallery, which houses a stunning collection of art from the Royal Collection. 📸 Buckingham Palace isn't just a tourist attraction—it's a glimpse into the British monarchy's history and traditions. During my summer vacation in London, I had the chance to explore The King’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace, and it was an unforgettable experience. Located within the palace, the gallery is part of the State Rooms tour, which costs around £30 (about $38) and gives you access to some of the most magnificent spaces in the palace.
The King’s Gallery, in particular, is stunning. The room is long and grand, with rich red walls adorned with an incredible collection of paintings by some of the most renowned artists in history. The high ceiling and the lavish decorations create an atmosphere that feels both regal and intimate. I was particularly struck by the portraits of past monarchs, which give a real sense of the continuity and tradition that the British monarchy represents.
The gallery also offers a fantastic view of the gardens, which you can enjoy through the large windows that line one side of the room. The natural light pouring in highlights the intricate details of the room’s décor, from the gold accents to the fine woodwork. It’s easy to see why this space was a favorite of King George IV.
After visiting The King’s Gallery, I spent some time wandering around the other State Rooms, each one as impressive as the last. Outside the palace, I walked over to the nearby Victoria Memorial and then took a relaxing stroll through St. James's Park, which is just a short walk away. The whole experience was a deep dive into British history and culture, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting London. 🎨👑 #trip #KingsGallery #BuckinghamPalace #RoyalArt #LondonMuseums #CulturalHeritage
London day trip. First stop: Buckingham Palace 🏰
#buckinghampalace
This summer, I finally got to visit Buckingham Palace in London, and it was everything I imagined and more. Located in the heart of the city, just walking up to the palace felt like stepping into a piece of living history. The grandeur of the building, with its impressive façade and iconic gates, is something you have to see in person to truly appreciate. The best part? For just £30 (about $38), I got a ticket to tour the State Rooms, and it was worth every penny.
Inside, the State Rooms are nothing short of breathtaking. The opulence is overwhelming, with each room more ornate than the last. The highlight for me was the Throne Room, where you can almost feel the weight of the centuries of tradition. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, offering insights into the history and significance of the palace and its residents.
If you time your visit right, you can also catch the Changing of the Guard, which happens daily in the summer at 11:00 AM. It’s a quintessentially British experience, with all the pomp and ceremony you’d expect. After the tour, I spent some time exploring the beautiful Buckingham Palace Gardens, which are included in the entrance fee. The gardens are a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city, with perfectly manicured lawns and a picturesque lake.
Nearby, I also visited the Victoria Memorial, just outside the palace gates, and took a leisurely walk through St. James's Park. Both are perfect for rounding out a day steeped in royal history. This summer, I had the chance to visit the Victoria Memorial near Buckingham Palace in London, and it was a memorable experience. Located right in front of the palace, the memorial is an impressive tribute to Queen Victoria, standing tall and majestic with its gold-topped statue gleaming in the sun. The best part? It’s free to visit, making it a perfect stop on any London itinerary.
I arrived in the morning to avoid the crowds, and the whole area had a peaceful vibe. The memorial itself is beautifully detailed, with intricate carvings and statues representing qualities like Justice, Truth, and Motherhood. It’s a popular spot for tourists, especially with the iconic Buckingham Palace in the background. The surrounding gardens are lush and well-maintained, offering a great place to sit and soak in the atmosphere.

A beautiful Road Market 😍🥰

During my summer vacation in London, I spent an unforgettable afternoon wandering through the famous Portobello Road Market, and it was everything I hoped for! Located in the vibrant Notting Hill neighborhood, this market is an absolute must-visit for anyone who loves eclectic finds and a lively atmosphere. The best part? There’s no entrance fee, so you can roam freely among the stalls.
Portobello Road Market is a treasure trove of antiques, vintage clothes, street food, and unique souvenirs. I spent hours browsing the endless rows of stalls, picking up a few quirky pieces of jewelry and even a vintage record. The food stalls were irresistible, and I couldn't pass up trying some fresh paella and a delicious cupcake for dessert.
