What is the experience of overnight sleeper trains in the UK?

In the UK, you must experience a sleeper train at least once! Not only does it save on accommodation costs, but you can also lie down and enjoy the scenery, making it truly worthwhile! 🌟Caledonian Sleeper: Departure points: There are two routes, the Highland route and the Lowland route. The former starts at Euston and stops at Aberdeen, Inverness, and Fort William along the way. The latter starts at Lowlander and stops at Glasgow and Edinburgh. Facilities: Equipped with toilets, shower heads, and washbasins. Breakfast is also included, and passengers can select their breakfast option on the reserved room card the night before and hang it on the door. Additionally, each passenger is provided with a small kit containing skincare products, an eye mask, a handkerchief, earplugs, two bottles of water, and chocolates. However, please note that slippers are not provided. 🥣Dining: Breakfast can be enjoyed in the dining car or in the cabin. Options include classic Scottish breakfast, avocado and smoked salmon sourdough, bacon rolls, and Lorne sausage rolls. Scenery along the way: There is a communal lounge in the carriage, and the individual sleeper cabins are equipped with transparent windows, allowing passengers to lie down and enjoy the scenic views outside frame by frame. It is incredibly soothing. If you choose the Highlander route heading north, you can also enjoy the unbeatable beauty of the Scottish Highlands during the long summer nights. Important notes: It is recommended to purchase tickets 1-2 weeks in advance. The service is not available on Saturday nights. 🌟The Night Riviera: Departure point: Board the train at London Paddington and arrive at destinations such as Newquay, Penzance, Truro, Falmouth, and St Ives. Train time: Departure at 22:30 and arrival at 7:50 in the morning. Facilities: Each passenger is provided with a washbasin and complimentary bottled water. Every carriage has independent air conditioning. The lounge car is available for sleeper passengers and is equipped with tables, chairs, and a counter offering alcoholic and soft drinks, as well as snacks. Dining: Sleeper passengers enjoy complimentary snacks. Room options: There are three types of cabins available: Single-berth Cabin, Double-berth Cabin, and Standard Seating. Scenery along the way: The Night Riviera makes stops at Plymouth, Truro, and St Erth, allowing passengers to admire miles of sand dunes, weathered cliffs, and historic harbors. You can also have a panoramic view of the picturesque blue sea. Ready to embark on an unforgettable journey?
