Tower Bridge 🇬🇧
#londontrip
The famous Tower of London Bridge is definitely a place I would recommend to visit if you are in London. The views from above are spectacular and have glass floors that you can stand on to see the road and the River Thames from above. It also has many facts, videos, and even some interactive parts. Tickets also include access to engine rooms that were equally interesting. However, if you don’t want to wait 20-30 minutes, book in advance! Overall, the experience was an experience you didn’t want to miss!
It’s “just a part of the London scene” – I had no idea I could walk through the top of this iconic London structure! What a great experience The option of stairs or elevator takes visitors to the “top” and from here you have the option to walk through the length of the bridge through the glass walkway or across the “normal” floor! Great discussions and challenges on the part of most people. I admit I chose to do half and a half!
Although it was gray and cloudy, the views were great. It was great to see the Tower of London, which had been England’s tallest building for centuries, dwarfing in front of the city’s modern buildings.
From the walkway we were then able to visit the Victorian machinery gallery that once ran this bridge. Machines that were works of art! Definitely worth a visit.
Tower Bridge London
Discover the Tower Bridge, located just a few minutes away from London Liverpool Street.
Getting there: To reach the Tower Bridge, you have the option to take a bus, hail a cab, or simply walk from London Liverpool Street station.
Leaving: When it's time to depart, you can exit the same way you arrived, and there are a couple of bus stops conveniently located nearby.
Ticket: Generally, there is no admission fee if you're only viewing the bridge from the outside or near the River Thames. However, if you wish to ride a boat or enter the bridge itself, you will need to purchase a ticket.
Surrounding Attractions: There are other popular tourist sites in the area, such as the Tower of London, which you can explore after visiting the Tower Bridge. Take advantage of the proximity and spend the rest of the day discovering these nearby attractions.
Seating Areas and Dining: There are seating areas along the river where you can take a break, enjoy the view, and even have a leisurely lunch. This allows you to soak in the serenity of the place and fully appreciate the experience.

The London Eye cruise departs from the pier next to the London Eye, with no stops throughout, offering panoramic views of the Thames. I really think it is a good value for money while aboard the boat. Amazing views to be seen while you sail down the river! Throughout the comfortable cruise, with live commentary, you'll see famous landmarks such as St Paul's Cathedral, the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London, HMS Belfast, Shakespeare's Ring, Tate Modern and London's Millennium Bridge .
Over all, I really enjoyed it, the conductor was a little funny, as well as giving a tour guide of the famous buildings. The boat went a little down the Thames then up before returning to the dock. The trip lasted about 45 minutes. It was not early but still managed to get a seat at the top. Apart from that it's always nice to go on a sunny day. Highly recommended.

The British Museum Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
🇬🇧Journey Through History!🏴🏛️
#timetotravel
The British Museum is one of London's cultural gems, a place where humanity's history unfolds through a vast collection of artifacts from every corner of the world. Divided into different thematic areas, the museum offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in various eras and cultures, from ancient Greece to the pharaohs of Egypt and beyond. Each room is a journey through time, with artifacts that tell stories of conquests, discoveries, and traditions passed down through the centuries.
**Getting There from London Euston:**🚇Ⓜ️
From London Euston station, you can easily reach the British Museum using the London Underground. Take the Northern Line (the black line) heading south towards Tottenham Court Road station. Once there, you can take a short walk to the museum. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes.
**Entrance Fee:**🫰
One of the best pieces of news is that admission to the British Museum is free. This makes it accessible to anyone wanting to explore the world of history and art without any cost. You can make a voluntary donation to contribute to the museum's upkeep, but there's no obligation to pay.
**Where to Eat:**🍽️
After a morning or afternoon of exploration, you can refuel at one of the restaurants or cafes within the museum. The Great Court Restaurant offers a variety of options, from light snacks to heartier meals. If you prefer something quicker, you can find cafes serving snacks and beverages. Alternatively, you can opt for a picnic in the surrounding gardens, weather permitting.
The British Museum is truly a gem that I recommend everyone to visit during their stay in London. The opportunity to immerse oneself in global history through its eclectic collections is a unique experience that will leave a lasting impression.#TravelInspiration #london #trip #vacation #culture

Wanna know the History?
First things first, let's talk about the sheer size of this place. It's massive! As you step inside, you'll find yourself surrounded by endless corridors and galleries, each filled with treasures from all corners of the world. Trust me, you could spend days here and still not see everything.
Now, let's get to the star of the show – the exhibits. Brace yourself for some jaw-dropping artifacts that will transport you through time. From the famous Rosetta Stone to the stunning Elgin Marbles, the British Museum houses some truly iconic pieces. It's like stepping into the pages of a history book, only better because you can actually see and touch these ancient wonders.
One of the things I love most about the British Museum is its diverse collection. You can explore everything from Egyptian mummies to Greek sculptures, from ancient Chinese ceramics to African tribal masks. It's a melting pot of cultures, and it's fascinating to see how civilizations have evolved throughout the ages.
Another highlight is the museum's commitment to education. They have interactive displays and multimedia presentations that make learning about history fun and engaging. Whether you're a curious child or an adult with an insatiable thirst for knowledge, there's something for everyone here.
Oh, and did I mention that the entrance to the British Museum is free? Yes, you read that right! So, you can wander through these hallowed halls without spending a penny. It's a fantastic opportunity to soak up all the history and culture without breaking the bank.
Now, I do have to mention that the British Museum can get quite crowded, especially during peak tourist season. So, if you prefer a quieter experience, I recommend visiting early in the morning or later in the day. That way, you can truly appreciate the exhibits without feeling overwhelmed by the crowds.
