Every Sunday, Columbia Road, in the East End, turns into a blooming oasis. Fifty street stalls and nearby stores sell bright exotic flowers and bulbs, trees and seedlings, gardening supplies, potted plants, etc. This popular floral market is packed with friendly flower sellers, many of which grow their own plants or import them from around the world. It's best to arrive early to avoid the crowds, or quite late for better deals. Columbia Road Flower Market and shops are open on Sundays from 8am til 3(ish!)
