London is a magnificent old city that is worth a visit no matter how much time you have. If you have a layover of 8-10 hours, you can easily enter the city and enjoy about 6 hours of time. Check out some of the best ways to experience London's top attractions and famous landmarks...all within 6 hours! Have a cup of coffee in the ancient tomb raider guard room! (45 minutes) Located at Watch House Coffee on Bermondsey Street. Boluo Market Canyon (45 minutes) Stroll along the River Thames (60 minutes) After filling the market in Boluo with boots, be sure to take a walk across the river on the riverbank and head east to the tower bridge for sightseeing. Be sure to pass through "Me London" where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of old and new London. Enjoy a boat tour of London (60 minutes). Take a boat tour of London in a very simple way, at a fairly cheap price. On board, you can use your Oyster card to take the ride, which will take you north to Greenwich and Canary Wharf, and then all the way back to the Houses of Parliament. From the London Eye, view the Houses of Parliament (45 minutes)
