Color me autumn! A day in Saxon Switzerland

Many people go to Dresden for cultural and historical landmarks, but driving just an hour further lies a true beauty of nature - the Bastei bridge. This rock formation is nestled in the Elbe sandstone mountains, 194m above the Elbe River, in an area known as Saxon Switzerland. Breathtaking views are everywhere, especially in fall 🍂🍃, but for me the best experience is having lunch and cocktails at the Bastei Berghotel and panorama restaurant.
