Nanjing Surroundings | 2D1N Family Trip to Liyang, Changzhou.

🔥 I went to a hidden gem near Nanjing over the weekend - Liyang. It was so relaxing. I have been to Liyang many times, and this time I went to Blue City • Jiashun Farm, which was so chill! ⭐️ We arrived at around 11 am and went to Jiashun Restaurant first. It was clean and tidy, and the smell of roasted sweet potatoes filled the air as soon as we entered. The restaurant was filled with organic vegetables and fruits grown on the farm. The room was filled with chestnuts. Haha, it is the chestnut season now, and we have made a reservation. I am really looking forward to it. The restaurant has a small courtyard, and the blue sky makes it a perfect place for photos! ‼️ The restaurant does not serve pre-made dishes, and all the dishes are made with organic vegetables from the farm, which are very fresh. We were served a welcome fruit platter as soon as we sat down, and every fruit was delicious. I must mention the chicken soup, which was so delicious. The chicken was tender and not dry at all, and I had two big bowls of rice with it 😊 The small biscuits served were really crispy, the crispiest biscuits I have ever had! ❤️ After lunch, we drove to Blue City • Jiashun Farm. There is free parking, and the farm does not charge an entrance fee. There are some basic entertainment facilities, such as trampolines, slides, hammocks, and various exciting activities. ✅ Regular activities: Free snail picking Free animal feeding. The farm provides free food. Sheep milking: CNY 88/group (2 bottles). Reservation required. Limited to 10 people per day. Egg picking: CNY 58/30 eggs. Kids love it, and there are black chicken eggs. Mushroom picking: CNY 58/basket (2 kg mushrooms, 1 mushroom stick) Plant printing: CNY 68/package. Very interesting. Lacquer fan: CNY 28/fan. Kids mix the colors themselves, and they are beautiful. Flower hairpin: CNY 88/piece. Not available on the day. Kiln-baked pizza: CNY 98/portion (8 inches) Traditional popcorn: CNY 30/box 💯 Highly recommended seasonal activity: Chestnut picking, which is so much fun! The farm provides bamboo poles, cloaks, goggles, clips, and small baskets. The staff is very helpful and gives some guidance. The kids were very cooperative throughout the process, picking, clipping, and carrying, and they did a great job! Be sure to wear sneakers, or the chestnut thorns will hurt! ❗️ Note: Jiashun Farm, Jiashun Restaurant, and the chestnut picking site are not in the same location, but it only takes a few minutes to drive between them.
