A Day at Liverpool’s Historical Masterpiece

The Anglican Cathedral is Liverpool’s Centrepiece. The Historical Gothic Revival Architecture that comprises The Anglican Cathedral is stunning and mighty in stature at a height of 101m. With access to the top of the Cathedral for £5, I recommend taking a trip up and seeing the Liverpool Skyline. You can see across the River Mersey to the Wirral and beyond to Wales. The panoramic view is breathtaking. For more information on the service and tickets, search ‘The Tower Experience Liverpool Anglican Cathedral’. Surrounding the grounds is a cemetery and garden area that sits below the grounds and offers opportunities to look up at the cathedral from a low viewpoint; I found this view particularly staggering. The garden entrance is located near both car park entrances allowing you to create a round trip that sees everything! An interesting fact about the cathedral is alongside part of the lower sections near the foundations of the building, you can see bullet holes from the World War that took place during the Cathedral's construction. This can be seen throughout the car parks, especially the central car park. On the inside, you can pray, shop, donate or explore the knowledge that holds various rare artefacts, religious relics and stunning glasswork. The Anglican Cathedral also has an intricate architecture that connects the floors and levels in an intriguing maze-like pattern. Once inside the cathedral, I recommend seeing the detailed brickwork and sheer size of the Anglican Cathedral. To conclude, I would highly recommend visiting the cathedral when in Liverpool for the fantastic architecture, historical significance and photo opportunities. I’ll always have a place for it in my heart. #solotravel #uk #liverpool

Liverpool Cathedral

Location: Liverpool Cathedral, Liverpool, UK. Liverpool Cathedral is the largest cathedral in the UK, although not as luxurious as Westminster Abbey, it is magnificent. You can climb to the top of the tower and overlook the entire Liverpool. After taking the elevator for a while, you need to walk up the narrow and steep stairs to the top of the tower by yourself. It's very windy at the top, so be sure to protect your camera. On a clear day, you can see far away. The son of a photography enthusiast friend is in Liverpool, England, taking photos of the largest Christian church in England and celebrating a special New Year's event with great significance.
